Fuerteventura Transfer Stations
The Fuerteventura Island Council, though the Waste Department, has completed the improvement and renovation works of the Fuerteventura Transfer Plants located in La Oliva, Tuineje and La Pájara.
These transfer stations have been manufactured and installed by Danima.
The purpose is to guarantee the selective waste collection in Fuerteventura, as weel as provide the Island the facilities for the Integral Waste Plan of the Canary Islands (PIRCAN) and the Special Territorial Waste Plan of Fuerteventura (PTER).
These are strategic facilities that share waste from municipal household collection for transfer to the Zurita Environmental Complex.
