New transfer station in Huéscar (Granada)
Diputación de Granada upgrades the Huéscar waste transfer station.

For those municipalities further away from the waste treatment plants, proximity to a transfer station helps, improving the management and collection process and reducing the transportation costs.
It is located in the municipality of Huéscar, southwest of the town.
It provides service to 6 municipalities, with a total of 16.058 inhabitants, which generaty an annual production of 6.695 tons. The destination of the waste in this facilities is Granada´s Ecocentral.
