World Water Week 2024
Due of World Water Week, Danima is raising awareness that water is a vital resource and we have to take our part in awareness and responsability.
Stockholm World Water Week 2024 will be held from 25 to 29 August,and is centered on water cooperation, for peace and security in its broadest sense. The theme, Bridging Bordes: Water for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future.
The event, which will be free to attend online, will feature seminars, workshops, case studies, master classes, exhibitions and networking opportunities, organised in collaboration with international organisations to present the latest trends in different areas.

This World Water Week is a strategic point for water problems around the world. The aim is to reflect the problemas on the lack of water in the workld. In this forum, experts meet to analyse and find solutions to the more acute water challenges on the planet.
Imagine turn the tap on and no water coming out. Imagine a kitchen without water, a hospital without water. In many countries around the world, hospitals do not have clean, running water, which causes serious problems, infections and many deaths related to this lack of hygiene.
Furthermore, water or the lack of water, has a great impact on many other aspects of humanity: food production, energy, climate change, education and health.
We could say it is the basic element to guarantee life. But it is a scarce resource in some areas of the world, with alarming data. It is estimated that 4 out of 10 inhabitants of the planet are affected by water shortages.
